Shatta Wale succeeds in getting a new die-hard SM fan after winning over the heart of Gospel singer Diana Asamoah

Ghana’s dancehall King Shatta Wale and leader of the biggest fandom in Ghana, Shatta Movement, has gotten another big gun in the music industry to his side.

And yes, she is Ghanaian Female Gospel veteran Diana Asamoah; the woman who holds the microphone to minister and people who have lost hope begin to get hope again.

Shatta Movement fans are scattered around the world; with no age restrictions. A lot of notable public figures have publicly declared themselves as members of the Shatta Movement family. SM fans include politicians, media moguls, footballers, the ordinary man on the street and even his fellow musicians.

How did it all happen? The two met at the Ministry for Communications Musical Event to launch Ghana’s COVID-19 Tracker Mobile application. The event was a virtual one which streamed on some Television stations and YouTube.

Meanwhile, the idea came up after Shatta Wale first organized the first virtual concert in Sub-Saharan Africa, the Faith Concert. After Faith Concert, a lot of Celebrities applauded Shatta Wale for his initiative.

Both Shatta Wale and Diana Asamoah performed on the day and after the event, they had a moment to share a word or two.

After the interaction, Diana Asamoah took to her Facebook wall to chronicle her experience with the dancehall King. And she was so sincere about her first meeting with Shatta Wale.

She explained that even though she had not met him before, she heard so many negative things about him on the media. But after meeting him, she had carved her own perception about him. Simply put, he loves his people.

She shared a picture of the two of them with the caption; “The first time meeting this man here, heard so many negatives about him from the media but one thing I can say about him is, he has a lot of love for his people”.

Wow, what a way to win over a fan!!!
