Ghanaian dancehall artiste Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr., known on stage as Shatta Wale has announced the date for the release of his new studio album, “G.O.G”.
The much-anticipated “Gift Of God” album which sees features from some great artistes will be released on the 17th of October, 2022.
Shatta Wale announced the release date of the GOG album during his performance at the SummerStage Festival on August 13, 2022.
Before the release of this record, Shatta Wale had earlier threatened to quit doing active music. He claims that his next work, the fifth album in his discography, dubbed “G.O.G,”; which will be released on October 17, 2022.
On Friday November 19, 2021, the “Dancehall King” hitmaker dropped a 4 track project captioned; “G.O.G Chaff”, songs on this project; including “I Pray”, “Cool Down”, “Love Is A Medicine” and “Maya”. These songs are tunes that didn’t make it to the main album.
Fans of the award winning dancehall artiste can’t wait for the release of the masterpiece.
