Ghanaian dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has descended heavily on the Gaming Commission of Ghana over a new regulation to allow Ghanaian celebrities to endorse products of the National Lottery Authority.
His agitation comes on the back of the previous ban on celebrities not being allowed to endorse sports betting.
The Gaming Commission of Ghana is the regularity body of gambling and lotteries; and they issued a strong warning, banning Ghanaian Celebs from endorsing sports betting.
A few Celebes stood up against this directive in the wake of the COVID pandemic.
So this new directive is like a U-turn on their own earlier decision; hence angering Shatta Wale.
