Ghanaian rapper Obibini has declined to include Sarkodie in his top 5 Ghanaian rappers despite pressure from a section of Ghanaians on him.
It will be recalled that in a trending video, Obibini listed his top 5 Ghanaian rappers and surprisingly, Sarkodie’s name was not on his list. He rather gave his top 5 spots to Lyrical Joe, Black Sherif, Gemini, Strongman Burner and M.anifest.
Explaining himself in the viral video, he said; “…yeah Sarkodie is one of the top guys but I don’t know if I’ll make a list, maybe top ten, I will put him in. He will not make top 5”.
Sarknatives and some entertainment pundits received this news with shock who have been putting pressure on him to include him in his top five list of Ghanaian rappers. However, Obibini says it’s not by force.
In a new video he posted on Instagram, he jabbed his critics by saying; “Eii make we no get this twisted Ghana. My top 5 is my top 5, I no dey understand some people. Grown pundit you dey radio you no dey understand the basics of entertainment”, he said.
“This is my top five no matter what it will not change, is it by force to put somebody in somebody’s top five? Am I in your top five wey you want make I put somebody you want in my top five – My brother, you for think. Is it because you put banku on my table or what?”, he further stated.
