Ghanaian female Gospel artiste Diana Hamilton is the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) 2021 Artiste Of The Year. She is the second gospel artiste to achieve this feat after Joe Mettle won the award in 2017.
The Vodafone Ghana Music Awards which is the biggest music festival in Ghana with headline sponsors Vodafone Ghana, throws the spotlight on Ghanaian musicians and entertainment industry players every year; and rewards their hard work through academy decisions and public voting.

For 2021, Diana Hamilton beat off competition from Sarkodie, and Kidi who was highly tipped to win the topmost award on the night.
Diana Hamilton go nominated in six categories of the 2021 VGMAs including Best Gospel Song of the Year, Songwriter of the Year, Best Music Video of the Year, Best Gospel Artiste of the Year, Vodafone Most Popular Song of the Year, and Artiste of the Year. She went ahead to win 4 of these categories including the enviable VGMA Artiste of the Year award.
Her viral “Adom” song got nominated in the first 3 categories whilst her person go nominated in the last 3 categories.
