Award winning Ghanaian rapper, Thorsten Owusu Gyimah, popularly known as Yaw Tog has expressed his desire to become a citizen of either the United States of America or the United Kingdom.
The prolific young rapper disclosed that he has plans to finish his education in one of those countries and work his way up to citizenship there.
He was guest on Zionfelix’s Uncut show when he (Yaw Tog) said that the current economic condition in Ghana is unbearable. And he is now beginning to see the reality now that he is making an effort to provide for his own needs.
According to him, he never felt the heat that the people of Ghana were complaining about because his parents were taking care of him since he was a little child and he had not yet completed his secondary school.
But now that he’s all grown and fends for himself, he sees that “adulthood na scam” and has plans to leave his home country for one of the world’s wealthiest.
Yaw Tog has claimed that he has no intention of permanently settling down in Ghana, and instead hopes to go to the West in search of a new and exciting experience
