Recent photos of legendary Ghanaian boxer Ike “Bazooka” Quartey has stirred controversy on social media as Ghanaians are worried and are talking about his current looks.
His new looks is allegedly as a result of his use of hard drugs which is slowly killing him.
Ike Quartey was a household name in the sport from the late 1980s to the mid-2000s.
The former WBA welterweight champion represented Ghana at the 1988 Seoul Olympic Games and went on to achieve more in his eventful career.
Ike retired after 42 fights which he won 37 of them with 31 knock outs, four losses and one draw.
The 51-year-old has lived a quiet life away from the media since hanging his gloves, however, photos of his current looks have caused a stir.
