After photos of Ghanaian boxing legend Ike “Bazooka” Quartey went viral showing him looking very old and unkempt, he has come out to debunk rumors that he’s on drugs.
Speaking to Joy Sports, the former WBA Welterweight champion stated that the secret behind his new look is that he just decided to grow his hair.
New photos of Ike looking really old went viral, with many suggesting that he is on drugs.
However, he has explained that he is not doing drugs.

He further stated that he is financially okay and is focusing on his family and business at the moment.
He said; “Since my retirement, I have focused on my family and my business. I am building a hospital. I am financially sound. I only decided to grow my hair but it doesn’t mean I’m on drugs”.
