VIDEO: See How Castro’s Friend Asamoah Gyan Paid Tribute To Him As He Was Officially Declared Dead By Ghana Laws


The legendary Hiplife artiste Castro was officially declared dead after he had gone missing for 7 years without traces of his whereabouts. And his friend Asamoah Gyan has proven his love for him in a new video.

The Ghanaian Hip Life legend, born Theophilus Tagoe, but known as ‘Castro Under Fire’, disappeared on the 6th of July, 2014 during a holiday trip to Ada with Baby Jet Asamoah Gyan and some friends.

It is reported that the musician went on a jet ski cruise with a female friend, Janet Bandu, never to return again.  

Their bodies have since not been found.

In Ghana’s Laws, someone who goes missing for 7 years without traces of the person is declared dead. And since Castro and Janet have not been found yet, they are now considered dead.

As a result, some friends of the late Castro have paid tribute to him including Kwaw Kese and Asamoah Gyan who was the last person to see him before his disappearance. 

He posted a video of himself singing one of Castro’s songs on social media with the caption; “I woke this morning and I felt like singing this song. Hmmmmmmmm. @castrounderfire”.
