Ghanaian Reggae/Dancehall Artiste, Samini, has endorsed the second term of Ghana’s President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
The celebrated musician took to Facebook this morning to post the hashtag #4MoreForNanaToDoMore; an obvious sign that some bucks have hit his bank accounts.
It’s the elections season and some Ghanaian celebs have openly declared their stance on who they are throwing their weight behind this December.
Some celebs who have already taken their stance includes loud mouth Afia Schwarzenegger, Prince David Osei, Sarkodie, Kuami Eugene, Diana Asamoah, Great Ampong and now Samini.
Meanwhile, many have reacted to Samini’s endorsement of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) as they are reading several meanings into this endorsement.
For some, Samini will not just get up and support the NPP if nothing has dropped in his bank accounts. For others, they feel he should not meddle in politics; as this has gone a long way in ending the once-thriving careers of some Ghanaian celebs.
With the elections just less than a month away, both parties (NPP;NDC) are doing all in their power to get the masses behind their back. In this way, they are assured of winning the elections.
It’s a 2nd term berth for both candidates of the two biggest political parties in Ghana. Will Nana Addo get a second term or Mahama will get his second term?
