Gyakie is a Ghanaian Afrobeats, highlife and alternative RnB singer who rose to fame after her “Forever” track out from her 5-track EP titled “Seed” released in August of 2020 went viral on social media.
Gyakie enjoyed some fame even before she hit the lime-light as she is the daughter of Ghanaian legendary highlife musician, Nana Acheampong of the now defunct “Lumba Brothers” group.

Musical Career
In 2019, Gyakie dropped her first single titled “Love is Pretty” which gave way for another single, “Never Like This”.
In August of 2020, the “Forever” song from her five-track EP, titled “Seed” became her claim to fame as it enjoyed massive airplay and topping the charts in Ghana, Nigeria and Kenya.
“Forever” also topped music charts such as the Billboard’s Top Triller Global and Shazams Top 200 charts.
According to Gyakie, she was influenced by Nigerian singer Asa and Ghanaian musician Omar Sterling of R2Bees fame.
Forever Remix
Gyakie released a remix of “Forever” with Nigerian singer Omah Lay in March 2021 and this song also made her very popular in Nigeria.
