The incumbent Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Bernard Antwi Boasiako popularly known as Chairman Wontumi has been re-elected after beating his contender, Coka.
After the votes were counted, Chairman Wontumi had garnered more votes than his contender, Odeneho Kwaku Appiah (Coka).
Votes from the four (4) zones saw Chairman Wontumi being re-elected in a landslide victory.
