Who Is Chairman Wontumi?

Bernard Antwi Bossiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi is a Ghanaian politician and farmer.

He is famous for his controversies and his maize farm. Chairman Wontumi farm was awarded the best farm  in Ashanti Region at the 34th National Farmers Day celebration on 7thth December 2018.

According to the controversial politician during an interview with peacefmonline.com, he has 10,000 acres of maize farm and that’s where majority of his revenue comes from.

Aside from being a farmer, he also has other businesses that fetch him huge money. He has a television station in Kumasi known as Wontumi Tv as well as Wontumi Fm. On these broadcasting channels he mostly talks about his political party, the new patriotic party NPP, it’s programs and policies.

Chairman Wontumi also owns a gold mining company in Obuasi and a football club too.

He once revealed how his car manufacturing business collapsed after NDC came into power.

He revealed he also had a car he manufactured called the Kantanka Boafo And ‘Wontumi’ cars.

Chairman Wontumi has a net worth of $10 million and is currently part of the richest people in Ghana. He is a lover of big houses and cars. He built his first mansion at the age of 22. This house is believed to have 25 rooms and aside that he has built over 100 houses which he rents out to make more money.

Chairman Wontumi real name Bernard Antwi Boasiako is married to Michelina Antwi Boasiako.

He had his high  education at Prempeh Collegein the year 1996. During his high school days he studied economics, geography, and maths. He was in the Aggrey House and was popularly called Benghazi.
