Young R&B singer Emani 22 known in real life as Emani Johnson has died at the age of 22 years.

Emani 22, who is very popular for her singles “Heartbreak Hotel” and “Dripomatic,” reportedly died in Los Angeles.

Emani’s death comes as a surprise to many especially her many fans who are still finding it difficult to believe the demise of the uprising RnB singer.

Her cause of death has yet to be confirmed as her family and friends remain tight lipped about her death; although rumors are riff that she was involved in an accident. 

The Sun reports that the news about Emani’s passing started to gain traction on Oct. 11, 2021, via social media.

Emani Emerged Onto The Music Scene In 2018

As an up-and-coming artist, Emani was able to make great connections especially for someone who had just stepped onto the scene in 2018.

With various hit singles and collaborations with rapper Trippie Redd, Emani was well on her way to becoming a big name in the world of music.

Speaking during an interview in 2018 with Voyage LA, Emani spoke about her deep love for music and goals for connecting with her fans.

“I love making music and with my music, I write about things I go through and things I feel,” Emani said during the interview.

I put my passion in my writing and my music and it’s all important to me, from every beat down to every last hum.”

Emani released her debut EP, “The Colour Red,” in 2020.
