‘We’ll Come To The Table And Decide On The Future Of Our Technical Staff After Match Day Five’ – Heart Of Oak NCC Chairman

Accra Heart Of Oak FC National Chapters Committee (NCC) Chairman

Elvis Herman Hesse has intimated that they will take effective actions against the technical staff if they produce similar abysmal results in their next two matches in Ghana Premier League

Hearts Of Oak are under intense pressure after producing three draws in the GPL. Their biggest rivals Kotoko are commanding the league table with nine points from three games.

However, the NCC chairman Elvis Herman Hesse, speaking with Kwodwo Mensah Moshoosho on the “Ultimate Morning show” on Asempa FM noted that it was early days for the supporters to start criticizing the players.

“As much as we share some of their opinions, I will plead with the supporters to excise patience. We have played three-match so far. However, if you look at our schedules for the season our first five matches are not easy ones. Hearts of Oak coming in as league champions also put a lot of pressure on the players and also looking at our interclub competitions, it played a major factor in our three drawn matches.

Herman Hesse further reiterated that; “at this moment, what we need to do as supporters to the boys is to support them. I think there is nothing wrong. We are only in difficult times but will come out victorious.

The NCC chairman also stated that he remembers how their first three matches in the last season were bad. “At the time, we went to Medeama FC and we lost by three goals to nil. But we still came back strongly. Perhaps I am not insisting that this season will be like that. Every season brings its own fortune and misfortunes.

“As much as we appreciate the fact that things are not going well in terms of results, I believe it is too early to criticize, especially the technical team and the boys. At this time, what they need from us is our support. Meanwhile, if we keep having the same results after our first five matches, then we will come to the round table and decide on what to do”, he concluded.
