Information reaching depunch.com has it that four young and energetic men have been shot and injured during a violent protest in Ejura, Ashanti Region after the death of #FixTheCountry activist Kaaka Mohammed. Mohammed died from injuries sustained from a mob attack.

After news of Kaaka’s death went viral yesterday, June 28, violent protests erupted throughout the Ejura township. 

During the protest, the youths of the town who were wielding cutlasses, clubs and knifes clashed with military personnel deployed to the area to maintain peace and order. 

The military personnel fired several shots with the aim of scaring the protesters away. However, bullets from the sporadic firing hit four persons.

Depunch.com can confirm that two persons have lost their lives whilst the other 2 remain in admission for injuries. 

It is reported that a huge crowd, mostly women, have gathered at the premises of the Ejura Government Hospital where the victims have been taken to, and are wailing over the calamity.
