VIDEO: National Ambulance Service Responds To Viral Video Showing An Ambulance Being Used To Transport Cement

Ghana indeed is a funny country. We don’t have enough ambulances to service the ever faulty health care system.

And the little we have too are being used for the personal gains of some unscrupulous self-centered individuals.

In a viral video on social media, a parked Ambulance was being loaded with bags of cement to be transported to only God knows where.

And quiet recently and sad enough, it took the intervention of 2 Members of Parliament to secure an ambulance for a dying toddler. Luck eluded the poor soul as he lost his life due to miscommunication between the referring health facility and the referral center.

Well, the National Ambulance Service has issued a press release, stating that the they have not taken custody of the said ambulance because it has a minor fault.

According to the Press statement, the ambulance is still in the custody of the supplier who took it to a garage for repairs.

In transit at the mechanic’s shop, he decided to use it for his own personal gains.

As to how true this “cock and bull” story is, only “judge can God”.
