“Dear Maxwell, I See You In The Boys – It’s Like You Never Left” – Late Major Mahama’s Wife Drops Emotional Note To Celebrate 4th Anniversary

Wife of the late Major Mahama, Barbara, has penned down an emotional note for her late husband; four years after he was unfortunately murdered in Denkyira Obuasi through mob justice.

Barbara took to Facebook in an emotional mode to disclose how his kids have inherited him and are growing just like him.

She further disclosed that they are doing so well – and added that she cries when she wants to.

She wrote; “Dear Maxwell, your boys are growing, they are doing well. It amazes me the kind of things that can be inherited, sometimes it’s funny. One walks and I see you in him, the other talks and it’s so like you. I enjoy listening to them just as I enjoyed listening to you, I end up saying to myself you never went”. Parts of the notes indicated.

“I will laugh unapologetically, I will dance unapologetically, I will cry when I want to cry, there is no timetable in this journey. It’s okay to be okay and it’s okay not to be okay”.

Major Maxwell Mahama died on the 29th of May, 2017 after residents of Denkyira Obuasi in the Central Region mistook him for an armed robber when he was going through his routine jogging through town.
