M.anifest

M.anifest has done what he knows how to do best on CNN; that is speaking big English and using complex words.

In a new episode of CNN’s African voices, the Ghanaian rapper M.anifest was speaking about his music career and growth, when he said; “currently, I know there’s so much further to go, I know I have not close to even scratch the surface of my potential”.

In the 3 minutes video of the interview named “My Drive With M.anifest” that was recorded whilst he was driving his interviewer on the streets of Accra, he added that “so I am motivated to get into overdrive, no pun intended”.

“I am not the kind of artiste in which I had this one-shot trajectory, so I think my most successful song is going to be next song. If you are talking just numbers, but that’s not what the measure of success is for me”.

He further labeled comments that suggest that he uses “big English”as trash rumours.

He said; “The biggest misconception about me is that I use big English”.

Speaking even more bigger English (pun intended), he stated that “it’s a very trash rumour that grew legs over that time, over time. Because the power of what I am doing is that it is layered and that on the surface, everybody can understand it”.
