The Queen of interviews, Deloris Frimpong Manso popularly known as Delay “drilled” her new boss and Ghanaian business mogul, Chairman Wontumi on her delay show. Delay currently works as a presenter at Chairman Wontumi’s “Wontumi TV and Radio” in Accra.
During a recent interview with the Regional Chairman for the ruling New Patriotic Party Chairman Bernard Antwi Boasiako, Delay asked questions about his personal life, where he attended school and how he ended up as a miner.
Chairman Wontumi was recently in the news after he made a bid to buy English Premier League club Chelsea FC when it was put up for sale during the Russia/Ukraine war.
Then the interview got hotter when she delved into his political life. She bombarded him with questions regarding issues surrounding NPP’s failure to retain the Fomena parliamentary seat under his watch; and if he thinks the NPP will win power if an election was to be held today.
Chairman Wontumi was very confident that since President Nana Addo was ruling the country well, Ghanaians will still give the NPP the nod to rule the country for another 4 years if an election was to be held today.
The recent hikes in prizes of goods and services including fuel, and the high inflation rates have culminated in Ghanaians crying and pleading with the President not to pass the controversial E-levy bill. But he still went ahead to pass the bill; something the Vice President, Bawumia swore never to do since it will only be adding more burden to the poor.
Delay had more questions for Chairman Wontumi and they spoke at length.
