Ghanaian Afro beats artiste KiDi was left disappointed after he lost out on the biggest accolade of the day; the “Artiste Of The Year” Award to gospel musician Diana Hamilton.
With many rooting for him and mentioning his name when it was time to announce the winner, the Lynx Entertainment signee felt it was a done deal.
But to his surprise and the shock of many, he lost the award to gospel musician Diana Hamilton.
After the disappointing moment, a video has hit social media showing the “Sugar Daddy” storm out of the venue for the event.
Known in real life as Dennis Nana Dwamena, he quickly walked out of the auditorium with a broken heart.
KiDi managed to bag 4 awards on the night including the Afrobeats/Afropop Artist of the Year, EP of the year, Highlife song of the year, and Afrobeats/Afropop Song of the Year.
