An alleged thief who showed up uninvited and picked up scented candles during Nana Aba’s birthday party at her home has owned up.
The thief owned up after she threatened to release CCTV footage from the birthday party.
It will be recalled that the ace broadcaster who turned a year older over the weekend threw a lavish party that had people showing up to celebrate her.
But on Monday morning, she came to twitter to rant about how an uninvited guest stole her scented candles. She wrote; “Ei. You can turn up at someone’s party uninvited and steal their scented candles? Wow. What a thief“.
She then went ahead to disclose that the act was caught on camera and asked if she should drop the footage. “Ahaaaaa! The uninvited guests who stole my scented candles at the party were captured on camera. Should I post it?”.
Hours after the tweets had gone viral, the thief reached out to the ace broadcaster to save himself from any embarrassment with the excuse that he saw some boys picking some of the scented candles so he also mistook them for souvenirs for the guests.
In an update Nana Aba via the screenshot in the tweet below, the alleged act apologized for the act and promised to return the candles.
