It has emerged that the tissue used by Lionel Messi to wipe his tears during his farewell press conference in Barcelona is reportedly being sold for $1 million.
At his last press conference to bid farewell to the Catalans, the captain of Argentina National team shed a lot of tears and wiped his tears.
And according to a report by TMZ Sports, those tissues used by the 34-year-old footballer to wipe his tears is being sold for a whopping $1 million.
The report suggests the tissue has been posted on an auction site, with the seller claiming it contains Messi’s “genetic material”.
The seller also insists the tissue could potentially be used to someday clone the five-time Ballon d’Or winner.
Messi who is currently playing for PSG will be pitching alongside former team mate Neymar and Kylian Mbappe in what is certainly the deadliest attacking trio in world football.
