Kurt Okraku’s ‘Enemies’ Plotted And Executed Hooliganism In Division One League – Sheikh Tophic

Board member of Division One League, Sheikh Abdul-Kadir Sienu has alleged that hooliganism in the just ended Division One League was a plot by the opposition to tarnish the image of the President of Ghana Football Association(GFA), Kurt Edwin Simon Okraku.

Speaking during a live interview with Enoch Wallace Worlanyo on Asempa FM, he stated that people who were part of the Division One league competition deliberately fueled hooligans to damage the league.

“Most of the acts of hooliganism in the division one league were engined, and that is my observation. People planned the hooliganism just to make the competition weird to people. Meanwhile, these people are all part of the competition”.

“Hearsay always spoils good moments, and one of the hearsay was that the Kurt Okraku promised Real Tamale United(RTU) Premier League slot. When this allegation started, they said Kurt Okraku promised the Northern football club’s Premier League slot”. Which is false? He stated.

“At that time Tamale Cities were performing well and because of the late Jones Abu Alhansan. He was campaign manager for the team game changer, and he also owns Tamale cities. Then it was quickly engined and people bide into that perception”.
