SCREENSHOT: MP Rashid Pelpuo Takes To Twitter To Vent Frustration On Some Flimsy Demands From His Constituents

Member of Parliament representing the people of Wa Central, Adul-Rashid Hassan Pelpuo has taken to twitter to spell out some of the requests his constituents put before him on a daily basis.

The 57 year old legislator was of the view that it would do them a lot of good if we change politics in Ghana.

His tweet reads; “My today’s frustration as an MP. I woke up to see a queue at my porch 1st visitor requested money to plough his 10acre farm 2nd: needed money to roof his 2 bedroom house 3rd visitor: needed money to pay debt 4th: funeral expenses 5th needed school fees Can we change politics?”

It is due to such huge demands that politicians are forced to stifle project sums and dip their hands into monies they shouldn’t be touching.
