Milovan Rajevac To Be Paid $30,000; A Figure Cheaper Than What He Received In 2010


The Serbian football manager Milovan Rajevac was reappointed by Ghana Football Association(GFA) after the sacking of the former Black Stars gaffer Charles Kwabla Akonnor

after Striker BongoKuhle of South Africa struck late to beat Ghana 1-0 in the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Group G qualifier at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg.

The appointment of the new Black Stars coach has generated many talking points, as he was desperate for the job. However, the Serbian tactician first stint with the Black Stars pocketed €35,000 as a monthly salary, compared with the current appointment receiving $30,000 every month. It was a figure cheaper than what Milovan received as salary which was €35,000 for Ghana national team during his first stint in 2010

According to the contract presented to the Serbian tactician and after a tall bargain by GFA, the new black stars coach will take a monthly salary of $30,000. In addition, the 67-year-old gaffer has been promised a whopping amount of $300,000 reward from his employers if he secures a world cup ticket for Ghana.

Similarly, the coach who has been tasked to prepare a formidable team to win the 2021 Africa cup of National tournament which will be staged in Cameroon, and will pocket an additional $300,000 If he achieves that task.  

Milovan Rajevac will be in the dugout in charge of the second round of the Group G World Cup qualifiers doubler header between Ghana and Zimbabwe on October 10th.
