Twitter has been awash for the past 3 days over an “Our Day” request from a 9-year-old boy, Oswald Gennuh to his mum.
In the screenshot of his request which went viral on Thursday, the intelligent boy gave details of everything he needed for his “Our Day” celebration in school.
These include details of the types and sizes of drinks, biscuits and Pringles he wanted for his our day celebration; a request he pleaded with his mum not to disappoint him because he didn’t disappoint her in his exam.
And since his well written letter hit social media, big corporate organisations, individuals and food vendors got touched; and began donating to the young lad and his mates.
Nothing is more touching than the fact that he wanted a big cake for his teacher Mrs Appiah.
He also got the rare opportunity to sit in a customized Jeep as the overall icing on the cake; something he didn’t anticipate.
He later disclosed to the celebrities who were present to perform to himself and his mates that he really wanted to drive that 2021 Jeep Wrangler. However, all he could do was to press the horns of the car.
It was indeed special for him;
Meanwhile his teacher should be commended first and foremost for nurturing him well academically and leading him to greatness.
