Ghanaian musician, Black Sherif has made history by becoming the first ever Ghanaian to hit 50 million streams on audio streaming platform, Boomplay.
His hit song Kwaku The Traveller continues to break frontiers and is still making waves on various digital streaming platforms with Boomplay being the most conspicuous.
The rapper, singer and songwriter held the same record back in back in June 2022 when he became the first Ghanaian artiste to cross 100 streams on Boomplay.
He took to social media to share his excitement about the rare feat by writing; “Reaching 100 million streams on Boomplay in such a short time and being the first Ghanaian artist to achieve this feat is a big deal to me. As a young kid from Konongo, who only had a dream and a voice, this brings me to the realisation that I can achieve any and everything so long as I believe and dare myself to take action. Big love to the Boomplay team for putting me on from day one till now.”
Boomplay is an app that lets you stream, download and share music & videos of your favourite artists from a huge library of unlimited music and video content using your mobile data or WiFi.
