It is just days after Black Sherif released his latest single “Kweku The Traveller”; and netizens have taken over the song with some rapping to the song and posting it on TikTok and their WhatsApp statuses.
One trend which the challenge has also taken is where people record themselves jamming to the song under their showers.
And to our utmost surprise, most Nigerian celebrities including musicians and popular actors have taken up the challenge; with some going as far as claiming that Black Sherif is a Nigerian.
But Ghanaians on social media will have none of that as they have pointed out straight to their Nigerian neighbors that he is a full grown Ghanaian.
“Kweku The Traveller” was released on Thursday March 31st 2022, and is currently at number one spot on Apple Music in Nigeria.
It is also doing so well on other online music streaming platforms including a No. 2 spot on Audio mark as the most streamed hip hop artiste.
