Media General broadcaster, Johnnie Hughes has descended heavily on the Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia after a video went viral showing him state that he would rather chose a Ghana card than a 1000 interchanges when told to chose between the two.
He was reacting to the video on TV3’s morning show, New Day when he wondered if Dr. Bawumia was the same person who preached that Ghana needs more interchanges in order to have a smoother rollout of the economy.
He bemoaned the challenges associated with acquiring the Ghana Card and how many Ghanaians are not being able to access their bank accounts because they still haven’t gotten a Ghana Card.
According to Johnnie Hughes, the card has not been fully made functional so he finds it difficult to understand why the Vice President will try to praise the Ghana card.
He added that Dr. Bawumia should ask God for forgiveness for making such a statement.
