Angelina Jolie reportedly recorded her ex-husband Brad Pitt while he abused her during their relationship and threatens to leak them after accusing him of physical and verbal abuse.
According to In Touch Weekly, the Maleficent star has evidence to support her claim against the Fight Club alum and she is willing to go to lengths to get back at him.
In her latest filing in their ongoing French winery case, Jolie claimed that Pitt used to abuse her long before their now-infamous 2016 plane fight, during which she previously claimed the Hollywood star physically assaulted her and verbally abused their kids.
Her new filing read, “While Pitt’s history of physical abuse of Jolie started well before the family’s September 2016 plane trip from France to Los Angeles, this flight marked the first time he turned his physical abuse on the children as well.”
Now, a source close to the Hollywood beauty revealed, “Angelina secretly recorded Brad many times throughout their marriage and has made it clear to him that she’s willing to use them to get back at him.”
They claimed that Jolie aims to “occasionally leak” stories of Pitt’s abuse to the press when their court case does not go her way or fi Pitt tries to approach their children.
The insider also noted that Pitt believes the recordings “will do as much damage — if not more — to Angie if they’re made public.”
Both Jolie and Pitt’s reputation and careers would be destroyed “if people saw how they behaved behind closed doors,” the insider added. “They were as bad as each other.”
