The Black Stars of Ghana have been kicked out of the group stage of the African Cup of Nations 2021 tournament in Cameroon.
The Black Stars lost to debutants Comoros Island by two goals to three in their final Group C match in Garoua, making them lurk at the bottom of the table with just one point.
The team had performed below par for the whole of the tournament and looked unimpressive.
This defeat to Comoros Island comes as a shock to many football pundits, considering the caliber of Ghana when it comes to African football.
It’s no surprise to me as the team was not assembled early enough to train for the tournament; making this AFCON one of our worst in recent times.
