National Security Operatives Handcuffed, Slapped And Kicked Me – Caleb Kudah Narrates Ordeal

Broadcast journalist with Citi FM/Citi TV, Caleb Kudah, has narrated how operatives of the National Security physically assaulted him after his arrest for filming within a security zone at the Ministry of National Security.

Caleb Kudah was speaking during an interview on “The Point of View” on Citi TV; and narrated how be was detained and interrogated for hours on Tuesday May 11, 2021.

He said that; …”They pushed me and I sat on the chair. They [National Security operatives] slapped me from the back. I was trying to appeal to them that they had beaten me enough, but they were just slapping me from the back. I’ll be talking to another one and someone will just come and slap me from the back.”

He added that one security operative even kicked him in the groin.

The national security operatives arrested him for videoing abandoned vehicles procured by MASLOC which have been parked at the Ministry for several years.

In a Rambo style, the operatives subsequently raided Citi FM in an attempt to arrest Mrs. Zoe Abu- Baidoo Addo, who was being treated as an accomplice of Caleb; because he sent her some of the files he captured at the Ministry electronically.

However, management of Citi FM/Citi TV prevented the operatives from capturing Zoe; after which they subsequently escorted her to the National Security Ministry where she was interrogated.

Both Mr. Kudah and Zoe Abu-Baidoo have since been released; but not without some traumatizing experience.
