2022 Bet Awards full list of winners

The 2022 BET Awards came off on Sunday 26th June at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. It was hosted by Taraji P. Henson for the second year in a row.

One bright side for Africa was when Nigerian singer Tems inked her name into the history book after becoming the first female to win the Best International Act at the 2022 BET awards. Looks like her magic with Wizkid on the song “Essence” worked to her favor.

The singer whose real name is Temilade Openiyi immediately sent a shoutout to other women, in general, to aspire for greatness, stressing that she had no chance of succeeding based on where comes from.

Well, other international acts won big on the night including Thee Stallion, Kendrick Lamar who recently visited Ghana and Will Smith.
