Zac Efron is geared to return to the screens with Nicole Kidman alongside him, as the two rekindle their onscreen romance.

The two actors would appear in Netflix’s original rom-com, titled, A Family Affair where Joey King stars as the protagonist.

King’s mother is portrayed by Kidman who unexpectedly gets romantically involved with her boss, played by Efron, who happens to be a famous actor in the film too.

In an exclusive conversation with PEOPLE magazine, the 36-year-old actor called A Family Affair, “funny, romantic and entertaining.”

This project marks Efron and Kidman working together after over a decade since they last acted together in the 2012 thriller movie, The Paperboy, where the two shared steamy scenes on-screen.

Referring to the time he worked with the 56-year-old actress, Efron also told the outlet that he was nervous as an actor in his 20s working with Kidman.

As the High School Musical star explained filming A Family Affair, he said, “I was still a bit apprehensive but reuniting with Nicole is always so great and as talented as she as an actress, she is equally kind, caring, and wonderful to spend time with.”
