Coach of Hassacas Ladies, Yussif Basigi has reposed confidence in his team, insisting that they are well armed to put South Africa’s women’s champions Mamelodi Sundowns ladies in their rightful place in the final of the maiden edition of the CAF Women’s Champions League on November 19, 2020, in Egypt.
The Ghanaian Women’s Premier League champions Hassacas Ladies have performed extremely well, winning three out of four games.
However, they have been rated the best attacking team in the tournament; netting 10 goals and conceding four goals including one clean sheet.
Meanwhile, their opponent’s Sundown ladies have also performed creditably well. They are the only club who have not conceded a goal in their four matches played. They have scored two goals and kept a clean sheet in all of their matches and also named the best defensive set up in the final.
Hassaca’s Ladies Coach speaking at a pre- match conference noted that “Playing the final game means that both teams are fighting for something important, the trophy”.
“We are coming to win the title, and there’s no turning back. I have faith in my goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders and attackers.”
Yussif Basigi also lamented that the Mamelodi Sundowns ladies will see more variations in how the Hassacas ladies play in the final on Friday.
