After the death of his son, father of the dead police officer in the Korle-Bu Bullion Van incident, Constable Emmanuel Osei has spoken.
And according to him, his son’s memory can best be honoured if his death serves an end to the killing of police officers in their line of duty.
Mr. Peter Attah said that police officers in the country are ill equipped with the necessary gadgets to protect themselves and others; hence they fall victims to threat when it erupts.
He was speaking during an exclusive interview with Citi News when he said; “My son is dead; I will not say I’m counting on him, but from my own observation, the security service is always left ajar; so they should be protected so that they can work well and protect us”, he said.
Constable Emmanuel Osei, a Mechanical Engineer from Takoradi Technical University was shot dead by armed robbers on Monday when he was on escort duties in a Bullion van.
