Ever since the slap incident where Stonebwoy allegedly slapped Sarkodie’s manager Angel Town, there has been tension between the two Ghanaian acts. The incident happened on Monday, August 10, 2020, during a rehearsal session for Sarkodie’s “Black Love” virtual concert.
Since that incident, the two who had been good friends developed a sour relationship. Stonebwoy stated that he was disappointed in Sarkodie for reporting him to the police. In the video below, he confirmed that he hasn’t been in good terms with the rapper since that day.
The ‘Rapperholic’ rapper also confirmed that the unfortunate incident broke his friendship with Stonebwoy who also happens to be his High School mate. He was speaking with Andy Dosty in an interview where he disclosed that he doesn’t speak to the Bhim President again.
“If there’s a time where we will meet up to have a conversation, I think it’s going to happen organically [naturally]. Honestly, I don’t keep up with him,” he said in the interview. Watch the video below…
But finally, the Sarkodie and Stonebwoy have met each other publicly for the first time ever since the incident. The rapper and the dancehall artiste met in France where they are both preparing to headline a concert dubbed “Accra In Paris”.
In a video sighted by depunch.com, Sarkodie walked into a room where Stonebwoy was sitting with other crew members. Sarkodie walked straight to him, shook his hands and moved to exchange pleasantries with the others.
Both acts were in dark sunglass and nose masks; hence, it has been unclear if they said anything to each other.

The two acts went ahead to grant an interview at a media house in Paris for the concert scheduled to take place on Saturday 23rd April, 2022.
