The Head of the Ghana Statistical Service, Professor Samuel Kobina has been hit by stroke whilst delivering a speech on live television.
Professor Kobina was attacked by the stroke during a live program where he was addressing the public on the completion of the Population and Housing Census which commenced on 13th June, 2021.
He was quickly whisked away from the podium and rushed to the hospital.
Professor Samuel Kobina Annim was appointed as Government Statistician and assumed duty on the 1st of March, 2019.
