Beverly Afaglo’s husband, Choirmaster of Praye fame has jumped to his wife’s defense following the social media backlash after a GoFundMe account was setup to solicit for money to help her after her house got burnt.
The Ghanaian singer was reacting to an old of his wife which surfaced after sympathizers started donating to support her as she lost everything she owned.
In the old video, Beverly was bragging about being rich and having buildings all over Accra.
But reacting to these comments, Praye posted a video of himself eating Banku with a caption; “even the whole Ghana wey dey brag say she get everything, CoCoa, Timber, Gold, Oil sef still dey go solicit for funds from Amanoni!”
“Ah well whether Support or Not enogo stop Me from eating My BANKU,” he concluded.
Choirmaster now lives outside Ghana and was not around when his wife’s house located in Tema was razzed down by fire 4 days ago.
Despite some netizens insisting that Beverly doesn’t need the money because she is rich, others have still donated to the GoFundMe account which has since gathered $1,534 from 56 sponsors out of their targeted $20,000.
