Maverick law maker and businessman Kennedy Agyapong has expressed his dissatisfaction over the duration of Akuapem Poloo’s jail sentence.
According to him, 90 days is too lenient a sentence for the offense Akuapem Poloo committed.
Kennedy stated that a woman standing before a male minor in her “birthday” attire is very wrong and should have attracted a more stiff punishment; 12 months to be precise. And for him, his 12 months option is because he wants it to serve as a deterrent to other future perpetrators.
It will be recalled that a Child rights organization proceeded to court for Akuapem Poloo to be arrested and jailed after she posted some distasteful pre-birthday pictures of her son and herself.
She has been jailed for 90 days after she pleaded guilty to all 3 counts of offenses leveled against her.
