Multiple Grammy-nominated American rapper Kendrick Lamar has been spotted eating at a restaurant in Accra after secretly jetting into the West African nation, Ghana.
Several reports have it that the US rapper quietly touched down in Ghana some days ago ahead of his album release which is slated for May 13.
Reports further have it that Kendrick’s visit forms part of his project to shoot a documentary in Ghana; and also partner with a streaming platform.
Videos and photos, as well as tweets confirming the reports, have been seen on social media since news of his arrival went viral.
In one of the videos, Kendrick Lamar was seen hanging out with his team at a popular restaurant in Osu, a suburb of Accra.
It is widely speculated that Kendrick Lamar will be having a private album listening party on Saturday at an undisclosed location in Accra. The party is said to be attended by a selected few music executives and culture enthusiasts.
