Ghanaian comedian Lawyer Nti has pleaded with Ghanaians to treat comedians with respect because they are not “foolish” in real life as many people perceive.
According to the “Kejetia Vs. Markola” actor, many people perceive comedians as “fools” in real life due to the nature of their career.
He further stated that comedians, just like any ordinary worker, should be respected because they don’t live life the way they appear on stage or in films.
He made this statement in one of his tweets yesterday. He wrote; “Naturally people see comedians and their first thought is ‘fool’ and as such treat us with ‘fooling amount of respect”.
“Some want you to start fooling with them right there aa mpo. We understand it’s all love but sometimes ‘respect’ a bit more. We are not fools; we just do comedy,” he further stated.
