Euphoria season 3 is currently facing a lot of setbacks, with one of them being Sydney Sweeney and Jacob Elordi’s contracts.

A Hollywood agent, who is not associated with any of the cast members, told US Weekly that the respective actors have become big Hollywood stars and are looking forward to a whopping pay raise.

The anonymous man’s tip comes after HBO confirmed that the season 3 of Euphoria will be facing more delay and that the actors are free work on any new projects they want.

However, an insider recently told Daily Mail that the real reason behind the hindrance is Sam Levinson’s frustration with the network which insists him to “complete the scripts” before green lighting production.

Now, the agent claims that the rift might not be the only factor as they said, “There’s no way Sydney Sweeney is going to come back to ‘Euphoria’ for anything less than a million per episode. ‘Anyone But You’ was so successful, and she was the main reason it was such a hit.”

“They will need to pay her a salary that is comparable to what she’d make if she was making a movie,” they further told the outlet.

As for Jacob Elordi, the publication reports that he already “took a dig” at Sam when he was promoting Priscilla and praised the director Sofia Coppola for being “trust-worthy.”

In GQ‘s cover story for November 2023, the Australian actor had said, “It pretty fun to completely trust somebody cause it just alleviates so much stress and worry,” adding that he never had a similar experience with a director before.
