Sophia Abena Yeboah’s hat trick has secured Berry Ladies their first win in the ongoing Supper League at Madina Zurak Park.
Prisons Ladies created a goal scoring opportunity in the early minutes of the game; but Berry Ladies goalie Portia Asante made a good save.
Berry Ladies took their chance a minute after the save by their goalie. Sophia Yeboah bagged her debut goal in the 9th minute.
In the 13th minute, Thelma took a lovely turn to set up Sophia Yeboah for her second goal.
Abigail Tutuwa got the consolation goal for Prison Ladies in the 36th minute. The first department of the game ended 2 – 1 in favor of Berry Ladies.
Berry Ladies then started the second half with a lot of fire works as they kept swinging in decent passes which frustrated their opponent, Prison Ladies.
A magnificent cross by the dribble magician, Thelma Baffour saw Sophia Abena Yeboah give a turn, and scored a beautiful goal in the 60th minute which cemented the victory for Berry Ladies.
Sophai Abena Yeboah was adjudged the player of the match with her incredible goal scoring efforts.
