Ghanaian President Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo has congratulated Ghana’s Entertainment Prefect and boss of the SM Empire, Shatta Wale.
This congratulatory message comes on the back of his infamous International collaboration/music video premier with American superstar; Beyonce.
The President took to social media platform, Twitter to pour out his heart felt congratulatory message to Shatta Wale.
Many has alleged that since it’s an election year, politicians are only doing so to tap into Shatta’s fan base.
Other politicians including the opposition NDC leader John Dramani Mahama, his running mate Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang and the Minister for Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah (Hon) have all congratulated El-Shatta.
Well, it is no surprise to me as the President has shown his likeness for the Dancehall King severally. And this latest one from the Jubilee House goes to affirm his admiration for Shatta Wale.
However, one instance when this rosy relationship went sour was when the President un-followed Shatta Wale after he posted a video of himself and a friend receiving a blow job from a female.
The all diplomatic Ghanaian leader did not go diplomatic this time round as he tweeted like a typical guy on the streets of Accra.
The Tweet on President Akufo-Addo’s official handle reads; “@shattawalegh, you do all!!! #KingAlready#BlackIsKing”.
This endorsement from the NPP leader will mean an automatic endorsement for SM fans too as the 2020 General Elections are fast approaching.
Congratulations to Shatta Wale once again for putting the map of Ghana out there.
