Former First Lady Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings’ sister, Nana Yaa has reportedly died at the age of 63 years. Nana Yaa was the wife of veteran Ghanaian journalist Alhaji Abdul-Rahman Harruna Attah.
Nana Yaa reportedly died on Wednesday 17 August 2022 at the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC) after a short illness.
Asaase Radio reported that she left behind a husband and two daughters namely, Alhaji Abdul-Rahman Harruna Attah, Rahma and Ayesha Harruna Attah.
Nana Yaa was a former employee of the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation and later served as an editor at the defunct Accra Daily Mail newspaper, owned by Harruna Attah himself, who also served as Ghana’s High Commissioner to Namibia in the John Mahama administration.
