Today, the Rasta student who dragged Achimota school to court for refusing to admit him because of his dreadlocks won the case against the revered school.

Meanwhile, Member of Parliament and Ghanaian MP, Okudzeto Ablakwa, has reacted to the news.

He took to Facebook to write about how this landmark case will ensure mutual respect between all parties involved in this case moving forward.

He wrote; “Terrific news from the High Court! I am thoroughly happy for the two Rastafarian students.

Hopefully, all parties would come together based on mutual respect, understanding and compassion in ways that preserves both the iconic reputation of Achimota and the future of the duo.”
