Sensational Liverpool forward, Sadio Mane, has decided to leave the club this summer amid interest from German Bundesliga side, Bayern Munich.
According to Italian Journalist, Fabrizio Romano, Liverpool is set to announce Sadio Mane’s departure very soon.
He further indicated that Bayern Munich are strong contenders to sign him.
“Sadio Mané has decided to leave Liverpool this summer #LFC He’s ready for a new experience after many special years with Reds – it will be confirmed to the club. FC Bayern are strong contenders – but it’s still open and not completed as Sadio wanted to wait for the final.” Fabrizio Romano tweeted.
This comes shortly after rumours indicated that Bayern Munich are close to agreeing a 3-year deal with Sadio Mane.
Sadio Mane lost out on lifting another Champions League trophy after Saturday night’s defeat to 14 time winners, Real Madrid.
