News reaching depunch.com has it that veteran actor Prince Yawson aka Waakye has passed on.
It is believed that he fought an illness for some time but ultimately succumbed to it early today at the 37 Military Hospital in Accra.
Mr. Yawson aka Waakye was 52 years old as at the time of his death.
The seasoned actor Bob Smith Jnr (Diaboloman), who was inconsolable once the news broke, confirmed the unfortunate tragedy.
The actor, who goes by the stage name “Waakye,” has been in a number of critically acclaimed films that have been produced in Ghana.
